The Newquay Foodbank has been in existence since 2011, consistently supporting those who find themselves in food poverty within the Community of Newquay and the surrounding areas. Recently Demand on the Newquay Foodbank has grown hugely, and this has instigated a restructuring of our leadership team, which has further prompted this press release looking to recruit personnel to key volunteer leadership roles, in particular Trustees including a Secretary.
We are keen to bring in fresh perspectives to contribute to the production of a strategic plan for our future. If you think you might have the skills and experience of working at this strategic level and would like to volunteer with us in this way, please contact us via email to arrange an informal chat.
Our Trustee Board will encompass a range of areas of experience, including, but not limited to; finance; fundraising and human resources. These roles involve a commitment to quarterly meetings, and an active engagement with the Foodbank, as a visible part of our governance structure.
