Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by food banks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list shows the food items that we need right now.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis.

Occasionally, we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work, particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations are never wasted.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food or would like to organise a larger collection.

Alongside the standard food parcel, we try to provide the following essential non-food items to adults and children in crisis, helping them maintain dignity and feel human.

The list below sets out what we generally need the most,:

  • Toiletries – deodorant, toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, hand wipes
  • Household items – laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid
  • Feminine products – sanitary towels and tampons
  • Baby supplies – nappies, baby wipes and baby food

We also support those with pets, so please consider providing pet food.
