Have you heard about our exciting new project?

Through our work at the foodbank, we consistently hear that one of the biggest challenges people face is moving on from emergency food provision and regaining independence without falling back into crisis.

That’s why we are launching Newquay Community Stores. This project is designed to help people transition from free emergency food to affordable, dignified shopping, offering choice, stability, and a stepping stone towards financial independence.

Our vision is a Newquay where fewer people rely on foodbanks long-term, and more people feel supported, confident, and in control of their food choices. The Stores will also provide a welcoming space for connection and access to practical support such as budgeting and wellbeing guidance.

Our opening day is June 17^th and it will run every Wednesday from 11.30am – 2.30pm.
